No other app gives the visual cues that show exactly where you're placing things.

Need to duplicate an element from one node? Just hold down CTRL key and drag it over. Very intuitive after the small learning curve.

3 stars due to what it doesn't have. But it spews a ton of cruft into your XML everywhere. If you're a pro, you'll use version control and you want to be able to check diffs, and XML Notepad makes this impossible for editting existing XML files.
